NEXT OCCUPATION:  Sunday, November 13th
Chapman Square, SW 3rd & Main, Portland Oregon.

In support of Occupy Portland we have been baking chocolate chip cookies to deliver to the site..  I am too old to sleep down there but I figure somebody in that crowd is fighting for me.. and they deserve a cookie.

We are asking like minded individuals to bake delicious cookies and join us EVERY Sunday night (or pick a different night) for delivery to EVERY occupy camp, worldwide.

- UPDATES -

11/06/11 UPDATE: OPERATION SUCCESS…  300+ home made chocolate chip cookies handed out at the Occupation tonight.  As has been widely reported, the mental health situation at the camp is deteriorating.  We have noticed it weekly with more and more of Portland’s homeless taking up shelter in the Occupation Camp.  It is feeling more and more dangerous at night, even for us.  We did see active engagement on the part of Occupation Volunteers to address this growing situation.  Hang in there everyone..

I lived on pizza during one long stretch of my life on this planet.  I love pizza but have had to cut back.  We hardly ever order pizza anymore but when we do, we call Lonesome’s Pizza.

We have been killer busy recently and subjecting ourselves to more prepared foods than normal.  Running a small business is tough and we often have to eat at weird times to accommodate our unpredictable schedule.  Tonight we had one of those days where we discover that mealtime has escaped us in our pursuit of the American Dream.  Lonesome’s to the rescue.

Laura called up a #1: Lee Majors vs. a barracuda with a bowie knife (pizza names change regularly) along with a pint of cold, creamy heaven for dessert (Salted Caramel Ice Cream).  Absolutely delicious and exactly what we needed.

Lonesome’s Pizza makes a killer pie and have crazy artist supporting ways.  Check out their BLOG for more.

ART with your PIE.  Check them out, Eat good, Support the arts.

It was another hot and heavy session of Gospel Brunch on Sunday.  The once a month service is causing quit a stir at the World Famous Kenton Club on North Portland.  We arrived early and stayed late.  Bailey’s and Coffee, Smoking Gospel Music and Beautiful People touched our lives for a couple of hours.  Ya gots to check it out.

Here is Plastic Jesus.
